Getting started
What is the M5EA?+
It's an automated trading robot (an Expert Advisor, or “EA”) for MetaTrader 5. Once attached to a chart it looks for gold entries, manages the positions, and takes profit automatically - you don't have to trade by hand.
What does it trade?+
XAUUSD (Gold) only, on the MetaTrader 5 platform.
What do I need to run it?+
MetaTrader 5 installed, a compatible trading account, your M5EA Product Key, and an internet connection. A VPS is strongly recommended so the EA can keep running 24/7 even when your computer is off.
Which broker and account type should I use?+
A Cent STP account that supports MT5 and XAUUSD. Avoid ECN / RAW accounts - their different spreads and commissions can change how the strategy behaves. Free and Standard licenses run under the M5EA IB (Vantage Markets); the direct-purchase packages work on any broker.
Is there a free option?+
Yes. You can get the EA free by opening a broker account under the M5EA IB link (limited-time offer - see the Free package and countdown on the homepage). Otherwise, choose one of the paid packages.
Packages & pricing
What is the difference between Titan and Apex?+
They are two separate gold strategies. You can run either on its own, or both together (the Combo) for diversification. Each is tuned to perform in different market conditions.
Which package should I choose?+
Pick the EA (Titan, Apex, or Combo for both) and how many accounts you want to run it on (5 accounts or Unlimited). Prop-firm traders should choose the Prop packages. See “View more packages” on the homepage for the full list.
What does “5 accounts” vs “Unlimited” mean?+
It's how many MT5 accounts your single license can be active on at the same time. 5-account binds to up to five accounts; Unlimited has no cap.
What is the Combo package?+
Both the Titan and Apex EAs together, at a discount compared with buying them separately.
What are the Prop Firm packages?+
Prop-firm-specific builds of the EA, intended for prop-firm challenge and funded accounts. They're priced by the number of prop accounts you need (1 or 5).
How do I pay, and how fast is delivery?+
You can pay with crypto (USDT, BTC, LTC, TRX) or card. Direct-purchase packages are delivered instantly - you get your login and can download right away.
Do you offer refunds?+
Because the EA is a digital product delivered instantly, sales are generally final. Please use the free option and the live transparency account first, and contact support with any questions before buying.
Setup & installation
How do I install the EA?+
Download the .ex5 file from your dashboard. In MT5: File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts, and copy the file in. Refresh the Navigator, drag the EA onto an XAUUSD chart, and enable Algo Trading (Common tab + the green toolbar button).
What is the Product Key and where do I get it?+
It's your license key from your M5EA account dashboard. Paste it into the EA's inputs. It's validated online and bound to your MT5 account number.
Why does it say “Product Key Invalid”?+
Almost always because WebRequest isn't whitelisted. In MT5: Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → tick “Allow WebRequest for listed URL” and add https://www.m5ea.com exactly. Also check the key is copied with no extra spaces and your MT5 account matches your license. Restart MT5 after adding the URL.
Do I need a VPS?+
It's strongly recommended. A VPS keeps MT5 online 24/7 so the EA can manage open trades even when your PC is off or your internet drops.
What timeframe should I use?+
Any timeframe works - the strategy doesn't depend on the chart's timeframe.
Can I run it on my phone?+
No - the MT5 mobile app can't run EAs. Use MT5 on a desktop or a VPS.
How it trades
How does the EA trade?+
It watches gold and enters automatically when conditions line up, then manages the position with a recovery approach and a basket take-profit. It closes the basket at the target and waits for the next opportunity.
Does it trade 24/5?+
No. It trades only during favorable conditions and pauses around high-impact news. Quiet periods with no trades are normal.
Why isn't it opening any trades?+
Usually it's simply waiting for the right setup - that's normal. Also confirm Algo Trading is on (green), your Product Key is valid, it's on a XAUUSD chart, and there isn't a news-pause window active.
What is the news filter?+
The EA automatically pauses new entries about 30 minutes before and after high-impact USD news events to avoid the worst volatility. You can view the upcoming calendar on the News page.
What's the difference between “Follow M5EA” and running it myself?+
Follow M5EA runs in sync with the M5EA master account - it starts and stops when the master does. “Your Control” means you run the EA yourself on your own account, with your own settings and start/stop.
Accounts & licensing
Is my license tied to my MT5 account?+
Yes. Your Product Key is validated against your MT5 account number, so it only works on the account it's bound to.
What if I change my MT5 account?+
On self-service packages you can update the bound account from your dashboard (this re-issues the key for the new account). Otherwise contact support and we'll re-bind it.
How many charts / EAs can I run?+
Up to 6 charts per account. Each chart runs one EA and needs its own Magic Number so they don't manage each other's trades.
Can I run Titan and Apex on the same account?+
Yes - on separate charts, using the same Product Key, with a different Magic Number on each chart.
Safety & support
Is it safe? Will I make guaranteed profit?+
Trading carries real risk and no result is guaranteed - past performance does not predict future results. Only fund your account with money you can afford to lose.
How much should I deposit?+
Use only risk capital. The recovery strategy needs room to breathe during fast moves, so a larger balance gives it more room - but never deposit money you can't afford to lose.
Can I verify your results before buying?+
Yes. The homepage has a live, read-only investor login to our real trading account, so you can watch every M5EA trade in real time - no screenshots, no edited results.
How do I get support?+
